Featured Robbery of the Week for February 27, 2017 Daytime Robbery: Be Aware of Your Surroundings

Crime Stoppers and the Houston Police Department’s Robbery Division need the public's assistance identifying the suspect responsible for a robbery by force.

On Friday, February 3, 2017 at around 9:50 AM, the complainant had just cashed a check at a nearby bank and then pulled into a convenience store, located at the 9500 block of Richmond, in Houston, Texas. The complainant stated that he exited his vehicle and was walking into the store and was attacked from behind by the suspect, who immediately went for his wallet. The suspect was able to overpower the complainant and was successful in gaining control of his wallet from his back pocket. The suspect then got into a black Nissan Altima and fled the scene.

Suspect description:
Suspect #1: Black male, 25 to 35 5'06"- 6'02", 150-220 pounds, wearing black pants, gray jacket, black baseball hat.
