Serial Robbery Suspect Captured

Mark Phillips (B/M DOB: 7/28/1991) has been arrested and charged with robbery with bodily injury through the Harris County District Attorney's office after the Houston Police Department went to the public for assistance in identifying the male responsible for a rash of robberies at various locations throughout the city of Houston. The suspect’s modus operandi was often the same, in which he would approach females and forcibly pull the necklaces that they were wearing and then get into a new model Nissan Altima and flee the scene. The suspect is believed to be responsible for the following robberies:

4.      11/13/2016 (144939016) Department store at 9400 North Fwy
5.      11/14/2016 (145357816) Department store at 11000 East Fwy
6.      11/17/2016 (146690916) Business at 8400 Fondren
7.      11/18/2016 (147329416) Pawn shop at 6700 Hillcroft
8.      11/20/2016 (148139616) Department store at 12000 Main
9.      11/21/2016 (148456216) Department store at 6000 Scott
10.  12/2/2016 (153108416) Clothing store at 8100 Long Point
11.  12/15/2016 (158969516) Washateria at 600 W. Parker
12.  12/24/2016 (163000816) Department store at 1500 Little York
13.  12/29/2016 (165185916) Department store at 8600 Irvington
14.  1/2/2017 (705317) Apartment complex parking lot at 5500 Desoto
