Featured Robbery of the Week for May 22, 2017

Crime Stoppers and the Houston Police Department’s Robbery Division need the public's assistance identifying the suspect responsible for aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon.

On Thursday, May 18, 2017 at 12:00 PM, an unknown Hispanic male entered the Lathrop Food Store, located at the 400 block of Lathrop, in Houston, Texas. The suspect approached the clerk displaying a handgun and immediately attempted to gain access into a small glass door leading into the back counter. During the struggle with the clerk, the suspect discharged his weapon twice. The clerk sounded an alarm, at which time the suspect fled in an unknown direction. HPD case #622480-17

Suspect description: Hispanic male, 20 to 25 years old, 5’07 to 5’9, 160 to 170 pounds, black hair, dark complexion, black shirt, black jeans.
