Suspect Targets Blind Victim in Robbery in West Houston

Crime Stoppers and the Houston Police Department’s Robbery Division need the public's assistance identifying the suspect responsible for an aggravated robbery (disabled person).

On Monday, July 3, 2017 at around 9:30 AM, the complainant (who is mostly blind) was walking in a parking lot at the 10100 block of Beechnut, in Houston, Texas. The complainant had just withdrawn money from a Chase bank and was approached from behind and attacked by an unknown black male; who reached into her pocket and took an envelope containing cash. According to a witness, the suspect got into a cream colored Lincoln Continental. It is believed that the suspect might have been following the complainant.

Suspect #1: Black male, 28 to 38 years old, 6’01, 260 pounds, gray coat, blue jeans.
Suspect vehicle: Cream colored Lincoln Continental
