Violent North Houston Hotel Robbery Caught on Camera

Crime Stoppers and the Houston Police Department’s Robbery Division need the public's assistance identifying the suspects responsible for an aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon.

On Friday, August 25, 2017 at 7 am, two black males entered the America’s Best Value Inn, located at 702 North Sam Houston Parkway, in Houston, Texas. One of the suspects immediately jumped over the counter and began to assault the front desk clerk by punching him in the face. As the clerk was trying to protect himself, the suspect grabbed a glass jar and hit the clerk in the head with it and then continued to assault him by punching him. The suspect then grabbed the money from the cash drawer. During this incident, another suspect pointed a handgun at the guests from the hotel (while eating breakfast) and told them to remain quiet and then grabbed their cell phones. The suspects then fled the hotel on foot. The front desk clerk sustained injuries to his head and was taken to the hospital. HPD case #1074282-17
