Home Invasion Suspect Captured on Video

Crime Stoppers and the Houston Police Department’s Robbery Division need the public's assistance identifying the suspect responsible for an aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon (home invasion).

On Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at 8:00 am, the complainant was at his apartment, located at 1910 Westmead, in Houston, Texas. The complainant was inside the apartment when he heard a knock and noticed a tall white male standing outside the door. The male stated that he was the leasing manager, at which time the complainant opened the door. The male then rushed into the apartment while pulling out a handgun and demanded his money. The suspect then began hitting the complainant in the head with the gun. The clip fell out of the gun during the struggle and the suspect then quickly ran out of the apartment. The complainant sustained injuries and had to be transported to the hospital for stitches and staples to his head. HPD case #1621054-17

The complainant stated that he believes that the same suspect had attempted to rob him the week before at his apartment complex.  

Suspect descriptions: Suspect #1: White male, 35 to 40 years old, 6’00, 170 to 180 pounds, light complexion, black hat and black long coat.
