Identity of Robbery/Kidnapping Suspect Sought

Crime Stoppers and the Houston Police Department’s Robbery Division need the public's assistance identifying the suspect responsible for an aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon/kidnapping.

On Thursday, December 7, 2017 at 8:20 pm, a female complainant and her grandson pulled up the gas pumps at the Corner Stop gas station, located at 5455 Court Road, in Houston, Texas. The female left the vehicle running with her seven year old grandson in it while she ran into the store (for about one minute). Within thirty seconds from leaving her vehicle, an unknown black male suspect is seen walking around to the victim’s vehicle and then entered through the driver’s door and drove off with the seven year old in it. The suspect then realized that a child was in the vehicle and stopped about a block from the gas station and told the child that he had a gun and if he didn’t want to get shot, he needed to get out of the vehicle. The child then exited and ran back to the pumps, visibly upset. HPD case #1536295-17

Suspect description: Suspect #1: Black male, 5’06 to 6’00, 140 to 150 pounds, dark clothing.
