HPD Robbery Needs Your Help Identifying This Suspect

Crime Stoppers and the Houston Police Department’s Robbery Division need the public's assistance identifying the suspect responsible for a robbery by force.

On Monday, February 5, 2018 at 3:48 pm, the complainant was leaving a pawn shop, located at 13801 South Post Oak, in Houston, Texas. As the complainant was walking up to her vehicle, she was suddenly approached from behind by an unknown black male. The male forcibly grabbed her purse while she tried to hang onto it, but was thrown onto the ground, causing pain and bruising. The suspect was able to gain control of the purse and ran off. HPD case #154925-18

Suspect description: Suspect #1: Black male, 23 to 25 years old, 5’6 to 5’8, 155 to 170 pounds, medium complexion, gray hat, gray coat and gray pants.
