Suspect Robs Two Novelty Stores On the Same Night


Crime Stoppers and the Houston Police Department’s Robbery Division need the public's assistance identifying the suspect responsible for two aggravated robberies.

On Monday, July 2, 2018, at 1:30 am, an unknown white or Hispanic male entered the Carmen’s Boutique, located at 1367 South Loop West, in Houston, Texas. The suspect selected various items from within the store and then walked up to the counter to check out. The male then took out a pistol and aimed it at the complainant and stated, "Give me everything in the drawer."  The complainant complied and the suspect then took his selected items and the money and fled the scene. On Monday, July 2, 2018, at 6:30 am, an unknown white or Hispanic male entered the 420 Smoke Shop, located at 8226 Gulf Freeway, in Houston, Texas. The suspect acted like a customer and selected various items from within the store and then walked up to the counter to check out. The male then took out a handgun and pointed it at the complainant and demanded the money from the register. The complainant complied and the suspect then took his selected items and the money and fled the scene. HPD case #839502-18

Suspect description: Hispanic or white male, beige shirt, beige pants and beige cap with camo print.
