Carjacking Suspect Captured on Camera Prior to Robbery in Parking Lot

The Houston Police Department’s Robbery Division needs the public's assistance identifying the suspect responsible for a robbery (carjacking).

On Saturday, April 26, 2025, at around 10:30 am, the complainant pulled into a convenience store parking lot, located at the 9100 block of Gulf Freeway, in Houston, Texas. The complainant stated that he exited his vehicle, a maroon 2009 Dodge Ram pickup, to throw some trash away and an unknown male entered the driver’s seat of his vehicle. The complainant attempted to stop the suspect from stealing his car and was briefly dragged along the roadway until he fell to the ground. The suspect then sped away from the location. The complainant suffered scrapes and bruises from the incident. Houston PD #537800-25

Note: As of June 16, the complainant’s vehicle, a 2009 maroon Dodge Ram pickup truck, has not yet been recovered and is still listed as stolen. The vehicle had a temporary tag.

Suspect: White male, 20 to 26 years old, 5’6, 170 pounds, blue shirt and camo shorts.
