Featured Robbery of the Week for July 3, 2017

Crime Stoppers and the Houston Police Department’s Robbery Division need the public's assistance identifying the suspect responsible for robbery by force (purse snatching).

On Sunday, April 30, 2017 at approximately 10:30 AM, the complainant was in the parking lot at the Hong Kong Food Market putting groceries into her vehicle at the 9800 block of Gulf Freeway, in Houston, Texas. The complainant stated a silver four door vehicle pulled up behind her and an unknown black male exited the passenger door of the vehicle and approached her and forcibly took her purse from her, causing her to fall to the ground. The suspect then got back into the vehicle and fled the scene. HPD case #538870-17

Suspect description(s):
Suspect #1: Black male, 20 to 25 years old, 5’10 to 6’00 tall, black hair, brown eyes, medium complexion, black shirt, black pants.
