Crime Stoppers and the Houston Police
Department’s Robbery Division need the public's assistance identifying the suspect
responsible for a robbery by force (purse snatching).
On Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at around 6:00
PM, the complainant had just finished grocery shopping and had just started her
vehicle while in the parking lot at the Kroger, located at the 1900 block of W.
Gray, in Houston, Texas. The complainant stated that she was sitting in her
vehicle as she was approached by an unknown black male; who opened her
passenger door and forcibly took her purse from her. The suspect then got into
a sedan and fled the scene. HPD case #748130-17
Suspect description:
Suspect #1: Black male, 5’07 to 5’08,
black hair, brown eyes.

be aware of your surroundings and never let your guard down

While
loading your vehicle with groceries, take a look around the parking lot for
suspicious activity

Upon
entering you vehicle, immediately lock your doors
·
If
you do end up being a victim of a robbery, then be the best witness you can to
assist the detective in being able to solve your case.
