On Thursday, April 19, 2018 at around 11:38 pm, the victim, who owns a cab company, received a call for a cab ride at the 6400 block to Heffernan, in Houston, Harris County, Texas. An unknown white male and black female then entered the cab. Shortly after being picked up, the male sitting in the backseat began to strike the complainant in the head with a rubber mallet and then held the complainant by his hair while the female suspect jumped on the complainants lap and drove the vehicle to the Exclusive Palace Hall, located at 6811 Bellfort. The suspects parked behind the location and forced the complainant out of his cab.
