Suspects Identified Following Video Released Seeking Publics Assistance

The Houston Police Department’s Robbery Division needs the public's assistance in locating Breon Twine, 23, and Larry Wiley, 23, who are both currently wanted for robbery with bodily injury.

On Saturday, August 23, 2025, at around 9:50 pm, the complainant was walking towards her vehicle in a parking lot at a shopping center, located at the 4700 block of Beechnut, in Houston, Texas. As the complainant was about to get into the passenger seat, an unknown male approached her from behind while forcibly grabbing her purse. The complainant fell to the ground as the suspect was able to gain control of her purse and then ran towards the passenger side of an older model Toyota Camry. The suspect entered the vehicle and an unknown second suspect drove away from the scene.

On September 9, 2025, the following video was then released to the public https://youtu.be/NW8zWxfSiKk by the Houston Police Robbery Division for the purpose of identifying the unknown suspects. In the days following the release, numerous Crime Stoppers tips were received naming the possible suspects. As a result of the follow up investigation by the Houston Police Robbery Detective, both Breon Twine, 23, and Larry Wiley, 23 were then identified as the suspects in the case.

Robbery with bodily injury warrants were filed through the Harris County District Attorney’s Office on September 16, 2025. Both Breon Twine, 23, and Larry Wiley, 23 currently have active warrants for their arrest.  Houston PD #1106241-25
