Featured Robbery of the Week for October 23, 2017

Crime Stoppers and the Houston Police Department’s Robbery Division need the public's assistance identifying the suspect responsible for aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon.

On Monday, September 25, 2017 at 3:56 am, a black male suspect approached the complainant in the parking lot at the Lydia Food store, located at 3502 Lydia, in Houston, Texas. The suspect pointed a silver handgun at the complainant and forced the clerk to walk back into the store. The suspect then took the money from the cash register and then grabbed Newport cigarettes and cigarillos. The suspect fled on foot in an unknown direction. HPD case #1217352-17

Suspect description: Black male, 20 to 35 years old, 5’06 to 5’10, 180 to 220 pounds, medium complexion, black hoodie and black pants.
