suspect responsible for a theft from person robbery).
On Thursday, October 19, 2017 at 6:00
pm, the complainant had arranged to meet with a male after placing an ad selling an iPhone 7 Plus on Offer-Up. The complainant met with the unknown male in
a parking lot at 12338 Gulf Freeway, in Houston, Texas. Upon the male’s
arrival, the complainant and her daughter walked to the front of their vehicle and were showing the male the phone, when he suddenly took it from the box and ran
away on foot. The female complainant had a dash cam in her vehicle capturing
the suspect’s actions. HPD case #1323718-17
Suspect description: Suspect #1: Black
male, 20 to 29 years old, 5’10 to 5’11, thin, white shirt and gray
shorts.
