Featured Robbery of the Week for November 6, 2017

Crime Stoppers and the Houston Police Department’s Robbery Division need the public's assistance identifying the suspect responsible for an aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon.

On Wednesday, August 23, 2017 at 8:02 am, a male entered the Family Dollar as they were opening at 3508 South Dairy Ashford, in Houston, Texas. The male walked up to the employee at the counter and placed a red duffel bag on it and then pointed a handgun at the employee and demanded the money from the cash register. The employee complied with the suspect and opened the cash register and removed the money from cash drawer. The suspect then walked out of the store and left in an unknown direction. HPD case #1065263-17

Suspect description:
Suspect #1: Black male, 45 to 50 years old, 5’11 to 6’00, around 140 pounds, black hair, brown eyes, medium complexion, black shirt with white lettering, gray pants, white shoes.
