Crime Stoppers and the Houston Police
Department’s Robbery Division need the public's assistance identifying the
suspects responsible for an aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon.
On Friday, January 5, 2017 at 9:00 am,
two employees with the 1% Check Cashing arrived to work and were inside the
business with the doors locked at 920 East Little York, in Houston, Texas.
While preparing the registers prior to opening for the day, two unknown Hispanic
males came out of the bathroom with handguns and approached the employees from
behind and demanded the money from the safe and cash drawers. The suspects were
very aggressive with their demands causing the employees to fear for their
lives. The suspects also threated to shoot the employees if they did not
comply. The employees complied with the suspects, who took an undisclosed
amount of cash from the business. The suspects then fled the business in a four
door sedan, possibly a Chevrolet Malibu.
The employees later learned that the
suspects had gained entry through a hole that was made in the men’s restroom
wall sometime during the night. HPD case #18499-18
