Purse Snatching Suspect Seen Casing for a Victim


Crime Stoppers and the Houston Police Department’s Robbery Division need the public's assistance identifying the suspect responsible for a robbery (purse-snatching).

On Saturday, December 2, 2017 at 2:47 pm, the complainant was at the Sun’s Wholesale Club, located at 8388 West Sam Houston Parkway, in Houston, Texas. The complainant stated that she was approached from behind by an unknown black male; who forcibly took her purse from her. Once the suspect had the complainant purse, ran into a crowded parking lot and disappeared from sight. Note: Prior to the robbery, the suspect is seen casing the entrance to the store looking for a victim to target. HPD case #1513324-17

Suspect description:
Suspect #1: Black male, 20 to 25 years old, medium build, red shirt with black hair tied up into two balls on top of his head.
