Female Robbed During a "Let Go" Exchange

Crime Stoppers and the Houston Police Department’s Robbery Division need the public's assistance identifying the suspect responsible for a theft from person robbery).

On Friday, December 29, 2017 at 6:00 pm, the complainant had arranged to meet at the McDonald’s with a male after placing an ad on ‘Let Go’ selling an iPhone 7 Plus. The complainant met with the unknown male inside the McDonald’s at 10750 Westview Drive, in Houston, Texas. Upon the male’s arrival, the complainant was waiting for him while sitting at a table. The male then joined the female at the table and after sitting for a few minutes, the male snatched the phone from the complainant’s hands and fled the store. The surveillance video from within the McDonald’s captured the suspect’s actions. HPD case #1631731-17

Suspect description: Black male, 18 to 21 years old, 5’5 to 5’7, thin, 115 to 130 pounds, red shirt and gray pants.
