Shoplifting Turned Robbery Captured on Camera

Crime Stoppers and the Houston Police Department’s Robbery Division need the public's assistance identifying the suspects responsible for a robbery by force.

On Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at 11:20 pm, two males entered the Adam and Eve adult store, located at 6463 Westheimer, in Houston, Texas. The males acted like customers and picked up several items from within the store. The employee recognized one of the males, who had shoplifted in the store in the past, so she stood near the front door in order to make sure that they did not attempt to leave without paying for the items. The first male then attempted to walk out without making any attempts to pay for the items and was confronted by the employee, who attempted to stop the male from leaving with the merchandise. The male then pushed the employee out of the way and walked out of the store. The second male also walked out of the store with merchandise that he did not pay for. The employee was able to use her cell phone as the suspects fled in a tan Ram 1500 (note: the driver of the truck remained in the vehicle while the other two males were inside). HPD case #556356-18
