Crime Stoppers and the Houston Police
Department’s Robbery Division need the public's assistance identifying the
suspect(s) responsible for a robbery with bodily force.
On Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at around
5:33 pm, an unknown black male entered the Sears, located at 4000 North
Shepherd, in Houston, Texas. The male placed several items in a shopping cart from
within the store and then pushed the shopping cart out of the store without
making any attempts to pay for them. A loss prevention officer witnessed the
incident and attempted to stop the suspect outside the store. The male suspect
then assaulted the loss prevention officer, but was unable to get away with the
stolen items. The suspect fled the scene in a beige or gold colored Toyota Corolla,
which was being driven by a black female. The suspects vehicle is believed to
be connected to five other shoplifting thefts, this one being a robbery since
the loss prevention officer was assaulted during the commission of a theft,
resulting in this case being a felony. HPD case #653585-18
