Crime Stoppers and the Houston Police
Department’s Robbery Division need the public's assistance identifying the
suspect responsible for an aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon.
On Monday, July 9, 2018 at 7:44 pm, an
unknown black male entered the Startstop 65, located at 9998 Hempstead, in
Houston, Texas. The suspect approached the cashier, pulled out a handgun, which
was stuck in his right pocket, and then pulled out a magazine out of his left
pocket. The suspect placed the magazine into the gun, racked the slide, which
loaded a round into the chamber. Now that the suspect was ready to rob the
store, he then walked around the counter and demanded the money from the register.
The suspect took the money from the cash drawer, 60 packs of Newport cigarettes,
lighters and a 24oz Bud Light. HPD case #875356-18
Suspect descriptions:
Black male, 30 years old, 5’2 to 5’4, maroon hoodie, blue jeans, red and black shoes and black handgun.
