Suspect "Polite" During Family Dollar Robbery in South Houston


Crime Stoppers and the Houston Police Department’s Robbery Division need the public's assistance identifying the suspect responsible for aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon.

On Saturday, December 8, 2018 at 8:20 am, an unknown male entered the Family Dollar, located at 6901 Bellfort, in Houston, Texas. The male walked up to the employee at the register while pointing a handgun at her and demanded the money from the register. The suspect then handed the employee a backpack and had her place the money in it. The suspect also wanted the money from the safe, but was unable to gain access into it. During the robbery, the suspect referred to the employee as “yes ma’am” and “no ma’am.” The suspect then fled the scene on foot. HPD case #1545198-18

Suspect #1: Black male, 17 to 20 years old, 5’9 to 6’0, 170 to 190 pounds, black hoodie and black pants with blue and pink colored backpack.
