Suspects Wanted for At Least Four Taco Truck Robberies


Crime Stoppers and the Houston Police Department’s Robbery Division need the public's assistance identifying the suspects responsible for four taco truck robberies in south Houston.

Two unknown males are responsible for at least four taco truck robberies since June 6th. The suspects commit the robberies all in similar fashion, in which they display either a handgun or a weapon described as a rifle or shotgun at the employees and demand the money from the cash registers. The second suspect also used a knife during the robberies. The suspects used a vehicle described as a gray Kia sedan and a dark blue four door sedan. No injuries have been reported, although in one of the robberies, one of the suspects discharged a firearm, leaving a bullet hole in the taco truck (732784-19).

The suspects are responsible for the following taco truck robberies:
    June 6, 2019 at 1:35 am - Taqueria El Sol Monterrey at 4318 Telephone. #713610-19
    June 10, 2019 at 2:43 am – Taqueria La Poloma at 8615 Winkler. #732784-19
    June 12, 2019 at 1:40 am – Taco truck at 2708 Broadway. #747044-19
    June 13, 2019 at 2:27 am – Taco truck at 6801 Griggs. #747159-19

Suspect description:
Suspect #1: Hispanic male, 15 to 20 years old, 5’6 to 5’9, 135 to 155 pounds, black hair, brown eyes, medium complexion.
Suspect #2: Hispanic male, 15 to 20 years old, 5’6 to 5’9, 135 to 155 pounds, black hair, brown eyes, medium complexion.
