Suspect Shoots at Bulletproof Glass in Failed Robbery


Crime Stoppers and the Houston Police Department’s Robbery Division need the public's assistance identifying the suspect responsible for an aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon.

On Sunday, July 14, 2019 at 3:58 am, an unknown male entered the Exxon, located at 3425 Eastex Freeway, in Houston, Texas. The suspect approached the counter, which was a secured area protected by bulletproof glass, pulled out a handgun and demanded the money from the cash register. The clerk refused to cooperate with the suspect and began to call the police. The suspect became frustrated and attempted to open the door and then discharged his weapon six times at the glass, but was still unable to gain access to the cash registers. Suspect description: Black male, black hoodie, red shirt, black shorts and camo fishing hat.
