Victim Shot in Neck by Suspects During Failed Robbery

Crime Stoppers and the Houston Police Department’s Robbery Division need the public's assistance identifying the suspects responsible for an aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon.

On Friday, September 20, 2019 at 11:24 pm, the complainant had just parked his vehicle at his apartment complex located at 6425 South Gessner, in Houston, Texas. The complainant exited his vehicle and was grabbing something from the passenger seat, at which time two unknown males suddenly approached him. One of the males pointed a handgun at him and demanded his wallet. As the complainant was reaching for his wallet, the suspect with the gun shot him once, striking him in the neck. Both of the suspects then ran back to a dark colored Honda Civic with a missing hubcap on the front passenger tire and fled the scene. The victim was transported to Hermann Memorial Hospital in critical condition. The suspects did not take any property from the victim during the robbery. Houston PD #1232772-19

Witnesses described the suspects as two black males. One male was wearing a yellow shirt and appears to be thin while the second male appears to be heavier with a white shirt and yellow cap.
