Suspect Stabs Manager During Robbery in North Houston

Crime Stoppers and the Houston Police Department’s Robbery Division need the public's assistance identifying the suspect responsible for an aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon.

On Saturday, January 18, 2020 at around 10:15 am, an unknown male entered the Family Dollar, located at 703 West Rankin, in Houston, Texas. The male walked around the store while looking at items down different isles. At one point, the store manager heard someone in the next isle opening a package and walked over to investigation. The store manager then saw an open knife package and noticed the male placing the knife into his pocket. The male then walked away from the manager and to the cashier while placing a shower curtain on the counter. While acting like he was going to pay for the item, the manager asked the male if he was going to pay for the knife that he had placed in his pocket. The male then suddenly pulled out the knife, grabbed the store manager from behind, and placed the knife to her throat while demanding the money from the cash register. While the cashier was attempting to open the register, the suspect then cut the store manager in the face with the knife, causing it to bleed. The suspect then reached over the counter, grabbed the money from the register, and fled the scene in an unknown direction. Houston PD #82632-20
