Crime Stoppers and the Houston Police
Department’s Robbery Division need the public's assistance identifying the
suspect responsible for an aggravated robbery (elderly) purse snatching.
On Monday, November 25, 2019 at 3:34 pm,
the complainant, an 80-year-old female, was walking from her apartment on
Irvington to the metro rail line at the 300 block of Erin Street, in Houston,
Texas. The complainant stated that an unknown male suddenly ran up behind her
and forcibly grabbed her purse, causing her to fall and hitting her face on the
ground. The suspect then ran back to his vehicle, which appears to be a light
colored 2007 to 2011 Cadillac Escalade with damage to the back left side of the
bumper and missing the center caps (wheels) on the driver’s side of the

Suspect description: Possibly a Hispanic
male, black shirt and pants and wore a red cap.
Vehicle: Possibly a light colored 2007
to 2011 Cadillac Escalade. Damage to back left bumper and missing center caps (wheels)
on driver’s side.
Crime Stoppers may pay up to $5,000 for
information leading to the charging and/or arrest of the suspect in this case.
