Suspect Sought in Daytime Robbery in Northwest Houston

Crime Stoppers and the Houston Police Department’s Robbery Division need the public's assistance identifying the suspect responsible for aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon.

On Monday, January 27, 2020 at 10:50 am, an unknown male entered the Big Bear Food Store, located at 3801 Mangum, in Houston, Texas. The male walked up to the employee, pulled out a handgun and demanded the money from the cash register. The employee complied with the suspect and gave him the money from the cash drawer. The suspect then ran out of the store to the passenger seat of a silver Nissan sedan, possible a newer model Nissan Versa. Houston PD #124351-20

Suspect description: Black male, 20 to 30 years old, 5’10 to 6’0, 175 to 180 pounds, dark clothing, and red sandals with a gray and dark colored sock. Handgun with an extended magazine.
