Bank Jugging Suspects Wanted for Multiple Robberies

On Monday, March 9, 2020 at around 1:00 pm, the complainant was returning to work at the CRU Food and Wine Bar, located at 2800 Kirby. The complainant had just completed a bank run at the Bank of Texas, located at 5500 Kirby. The complainant parked his vehicle in the basement parking lot and was walking up the escalators when a male holding what appeared to be a gun, suddenly approached from behind him. The suspect discharged the weapon at the complainant, at which time he realized that it was a Taser (complainant was struck in the back with one dart while the second dart missed). The suspect then began running up the escalators while demanding the complainant’s bank bag as the complainant started yelling for help, which caught the attention of a security guard. The security guard then ran towards the commotion, causing the suspect to run back towards his vehicle, described as a red four-door sedan, possibly a Chevrolet Impala, and then fled the scene. The suspect(s) are also believed to be responsible for at least two additional cases:

One of the incidents occurred on March 5th at 12:00 pm at the 5500 block of Memorial Drive. The complainant believes that he was followed home after leaving a nearby Chase Bank. As he exited his vehicle, he approached from behind by an unknown suspect and struck in the head with a weapon, causing him to fall to the ground. The suspect then grabbed the complainant’s money and fled the scene in a red or maroon four-door sedan, possibly a Chevrolet Impala. Houston PD #308508-20

The other incident occurred on March 19th at 12:51 pm at the 800 block of Pacific. The complainant stated that he went to the Wells Fargo Bank, located at 1500 Waugh Drive, and went inside to deposit cash and checks. The complainant stated that he left the location with the bank bag still in hand and then drove to JR’s Bar and Grill, located at the 800 block of Pacific. As the complainant was walking into the business, he was approached from behind by an unknown male, who pushed him to the ground. The suspect then pointed a handgun at the complainant while grabbing his bank bag. The suspect then ran to a red or maroon Chevrolet Impala and fled the scene. Houston PD #377223-20
