Kingwood Robbery Caught on Camera outside Restaurant

Crime Stoppers and the Houston Police Department’s Robbery Division need the public's assistance identifying the suspect(s) responsible for an aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon (purse snatching).

On Tuesday, February 25, 2020 at 5:30 pm, the complainant exited the Union Kitchen restaurant and started to walk towards her vehicle in the parking lot at the 23000 block of Eastex Freeway, in Houston (Montgomery County), Texas. While the complainant was opening the door to her vehicle, an unknown male exited a white four-door Chrysler sedan and ran up to her, hit her over the head with a gun, which caused her to fall to the ground. The suspect then took the complainants purse and then ran back to the vehicle and jumped into the backseat. The complainant tried to run after the suspect's vehicle but stopped when the suspect fired a round towards her. The complainant suffered an injury to her head causing bleeding after being hit in the head with the suspect’s gun. Houston PD #266572-20

Note: The suspect’s shoes (right) fell off as he exited the vehicle and was recovered by officers. A 45-caliber casing from the suspect’s weapon was also recovered at the scene.
Shortly after the robbery, the complainant’s iPad was tracked near the Greyhound Bus Station, but was never located.

Suspect description: Black male, 30 to 35 years old, red pullover and dark pants.
