Male Punches Female Employee After Shoplifting Incident

Crime Stoppers and the Houston Police Department’s Robbery Division need the public's assistance identifying the suspect responsible for a robbery with bodily injury.

On Friday, February 21, 2020 at around 8:45 pm, an unknown male entered the Home Depot, located at 13400 Market Street, in Houston, Texas. The male filled a shopping cart up with numerous items from within the store and then pushed the shopping cart out of the store without attempting to pay for the items. A female employee witnessed the incident, stopped the suspect, and asked him if he had a receipt. The suspect then punched the female employee in the face numerous times, breaking her glasses in the process. The male then ran to the passenger seat of a light blue Chevrolet Silverado with no rear plate and fled the scene. Houston PD #247743-20

Suspect description: Black male, 25 to 30 years old, 5’10 to 6, 280 to 300 pounds, black pants and black hoodie.
