Suspect Unsuccessful in Robbery when Employee Hides

Crime Stoppers and the Houston Police Department’s Robbery Division need the public's assistance identifying the suspect responsible for aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon.

On Thursday, April 2, 2020 at 10:29 am, an unknown male entered the Taqueria y Paneria Morelos, located at 4324 Telephone, in Houston, Texas. The male remained at the entrance of the store while demanding the money from the cash register from an employee standing behind the counter. The male then displayed a handgun at his waistband, at which time the employee ran to the back office. The suspect became frustrated and fled the store in an unknown direction. Houston PD #437364-20

Suspect #1: White or Hispanic male, 20 to 29 years old and black Calvin Kline hoodie, black pants and black and white shoes.
