Suspect Almost Runs Over Employees After Shoplifting

The Houston Police Department’s Robbery Division need the public's assistance identifying the suspect responsible for an aggravated robbery (elderly). 

On Sunday, December 20, 2020 at around 12:25 pm, an unknown male entered a camera store, located at the 5900 block of Richmond Avenue, in Houston, Texas. The male picked out $5,000 worth of merchandise and as the employee was about to finalize the sale, the male picked up the items and ran out of the door with the unpaid merchandise. The suspect then attempted to get into a single cab Ram 1500 pickup as three employees tried to stop him, including an 68 year old employee. The suspect was eventually able to break free from the employees and sped out of the parking lot. All of the employees suffered minor cuts and scrapes from the incident. Houston PD # 1691440-20

The victims were able to get the temporary license plate number from the vehicle, but after further investigation, it was discovered that the plate is fictitious. 

Suspect descriptions: Black male, 33 to 35 years old, 6’1, 275 pounds, bald, blue pullover, blue pants and brown shoes.
