Suspect Sought in Aggravated Robbery of Elderly Female

The Houston Police Department’s Robbery Division need the public's assistance identifying the suspect responsible for an aggravated robbery (elderly). 

On Friday, June 11, 2021 at 1:40 pm, the complainant, a 72-year-old female, was walking to her vehicle at a commercial parking lot, located at the 1400 block of Wirt Road, in Houston, Texas. The complainant stated that she was approached by an unknown male, who forcibly grabbed her purse, and then dragged her on the ground until she was able to let go. The suspect then got into a black Nissan Altima and fled the scene. Houston PD #784005-21 

Prior to this incident, the complainant was at a bank at the 9700 block of Katy Freeway where she withdrew a large sum of money and then placed it into her purse. It is believed that the suspects then followed the complainant to the 1400 block of Wirt and waited for an opportunity to take her purse. 

Suspect description: Unknown race male, gray hoodie, wore a mask and gloves.

Suspect vehicle: Black Nissan Altima.
