Detectives Seek Identity of Suspects in Store Robbery

The Houston Police Department’s Robbery Division needs the public's assistance identifying the suspects responsible for an aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon.

On Thursday, January 6, 2022, at about 6:22 pm, three males were buzzed into the EZ Pawn, located in the 5900 block of Lyons Avenue, in Houston, Texas. The first two males entered, one armed with a pistol, and the third stayed at the door acting as a look out.  The first male, armed with a pistol, ran to the register and jumped on the counter, while pointing his gun at the employee and demanding money.  The second male broke several display cases, but was still unable to access the jewelry. The employee gave the first suspect the money and was then escorted near the jewelry cases where he was forced to the ground.  The suspects then opened the cabinets and the jewelry was removed. The third male remained at the door throughout the robbery. The suspects then fled the location in an unknown direction. Houston PD #24941-22.

This incident is possibly related to a recent robbery of another EZ Pawn location from January 3, 2022.
