Elderly Couple Carjacked at their West Houston Residence

The Houston Police Department’s Robbery Division needs the public's assistance identifying the suspect responsible for an aggravated robbery. 

On Saturday, February 11, 2023 at 2:50 pm, an elderly (72-year-old) female complainant was in her residential garage at the 10200 block of Briar Forest, in Houston, Texas. The complainant stated that she had just opened the garage door and was in the process of putting something in her truck when she was approached from behind by an unknown suspect, who was pointing a handgun at her while demanding her car keys. The female complainant began to scream, resulting in her elderly (75-year-old) husband to open the front door in order to investigate. The suspect then directed his attention towards the male complainant, pointed the gun at him, and demanded their car keys. The suspect briefly followed the male complainant into the house, took the keys to their four-door BMW sedan, and then drove away in their vehicle. Houston PD #209326-23 

The victims black four-door BMW sedan was located the next day, unoccupied, on a residential street, next to an apartment complex, at 5401 Rampart, in Southwest Houston. 

Suspect descriptions: Black male, 20’s, 5’8, black clothing, and dark colored ski mask.
