Dating App Meetup Turns into Robbery

The Houston Police Department’s Robbery Division needs the public's assistance identifying the suspect responsible for a robbery bodily injury. 

On Thursday, February 9, 2023 at around 7:00 am, the complainant met up with a male that he had met on a dating app and they agreed to meet at a hotel at the 3000 block of South Loop West, in Houston, Texas. The complainant stated that as they were in the room, the male assaulted him by placing him in a chokehold and then removed his wallet from his jeans. The suspect then fled the location. Suspect description: Hispanic male, mid 20’s, tattoo on his neck, regular ink color, or green, possibly a HEART.
