Business Owner Robbed After Arriving to Work

 The Houston Police Department’s Robbery Division needs the public's assistance identifying the suspect(s) responsible for a robbery by force. 

On Friday, July 14, 2023 at around 10:50 am, the complainant, a convenience store owner, was arriving back to his store at the 4700 block of Almeda Genoa, in Houston, Texas. The complainant stated that as he arrived and was walking towards the entrance to the store, two unknown males approached him and forcibly grabbed his cash from his hands, The complainant stated that he briefly struggled with the suspects, who were able to overpower him, and grab the cash that he was carrying. The suspects then got into a black Toyota 4-runner and fled the scene. Houston PD #998410-23 

Note: The complainant stated that prior to the incident, he went to the Hamni Bank, located at 6588 Corporate and withdrew a large sum of money at the drive-thru window. The complainant stated that he believes that the suspect(s) followed him back to his store. 

Suspect description: Black male, 25 to 30 years old, 5’8 to 5’10, 150 to 150 pounds, black pants and black hoodie and black cap.

Suspect #2: Black male, 25 to 30 years old, 5’8 to 6’0, black pants, green hoodie and cap.
