The Houston Police Department’s Robbery
Division are still in need of the public's assistance identifying the suspects
responsible for an aggravated robbery (elderly). On Tuesday, June 27, 2023 at around 3:40 pm, the complainant had just arrived at his residence at the 9300 block of Willowview, in Houston, Texas. The complainant stated that he was approached from behind by two unknown males, who forcibly grabbed a bag that he was holding. The complainant stated that he tried to fight off the suspects and during the struggle, his revolver fell out of his bag. One of the suspects picked up his gun while the second suspect was able to take control of his bag. Both suspects then ran to a black Chevrolet Tahoe and sped away from the scene. Prior to the incident, the complainant was at a Bank of America at 9754 Katy Freeway and believes that he was followed by the suspects to his residence. The suspects were captured on surveillance cameras near the bank (prior to the robbery) at the same time as when the complainant was there.
Note: Detectives with the Houston Police Robbery have a license plate of the suspect vehicle (black Chevrolet Tahoe), but it has not yet led to the identification of the suspects.
Suspect description: Driver: medium skinned black male, 6', skinny, mid 20's in age. Front Passenger: medium skinned black male, 5'9", skinny build, mid 20's in age, wearing black and white hoodie.
