The suspects, Joshua Drab, 19, and Nathan Ybarra, 20, are charged with aggravated robbery in the 263rd State District Court. Booking photos are attached to this release. Joshua Drab, 19, is currently wanted for the aggravated robbery while Nathan Ybarra, 20, was arrested on August 21 in an unrelated aggravated robbery and in custody at the Harris County jail.
According to the complainant, he was notified that someone was attempting to break into his truck, which was parked in a parking garage. The complainant stated that he walked into the parking garage and observed several unknown males around his truck. When the complainant approached them, one of the suspects, later identified as Joshua Drab, pulled out a handgun, pointed it at him, and threatened to shoot him if he came towards them. The suspects then got into two vehicles, a black four door sedan and a red Ford four-door sedan and fled the area.
A video of the suspects was released to the public on the Houston Police Robbery Division social media platforms on July 16. A Houston Police officer assigned to the North Hotspot Unit saw the release and recognized the suspects. A Houston Police Robbery Detective was then notified and conducted a follow up investigation. Both Joshua Drab, 19, and Nathan Ybarra, 20, were identified by the complainant and charges of aggravated robbery were filed on August 13.
