SUSPECT ARRESTED IN RECENTLY RELEASED CASE: Charges have been filed against a suspect arrested for two counts of aggravated robbery that occurred on Friday, May 3, 2024 at around 10:00 am at a game room, located at the 12300 block of Fondren, in Houston, Texas.
The suspect, Nathaniel Roberson, 24, is charged with two counts of aggravated robbery in the 183rd State District Court. Nathaniel Roberson’s booking photo is attached to this release.
The complainants reported that two unknown males entered a game room and immediately assaulted an armed female security guard and forcibly took her weapon. With the security guard disarmed, the two suspects signal for the third suspect, who was waiting inside the Chevy Malibu, to come inside the property. The suspects then entered the back room where they located an employee, who was pregnant, and assaulted her by striking her in the head with a handgun. Once the suspect realized the female was also pregnant, he kicked her several times in the stomach.
The suspects then ransacked the back offices, removing a large sum of money. The three suspects then fled the location and joined a fourth unknown male, who was driving a black Chevrolet Malibu. The complainants then filed a police report with Houston Police.
A Houston Police Robbery Detective conducted a follow up investigation after receiving a Crime-Stoppers after the robbery was released to the public. Detectives were able to establish Nathaniel Roberson, 24, as one of the suspects.
Nathaniel Roberson was then charged with two counts of aggravated robbery, which were filed on September 5. Roberson was already in custody in the Harris County jail after being arrested and charged in an unrelated aggravated robbery that occurred at a drug store on August 24 at the 4700 block of Westheimer.
