On Friday, November 1, 2024, at around 11:45 am, the complainant, an ATM technician, arrived at a convenience store to service an ATM at the 6300 block of Eastland, in Houston, Texas. The complainant stated that he was suddenly approached by two unknown males. One of the males sprayed his face with pepper spray while demanding his property. The complainant attempted to flee from the suspects on foot, but one of the suspects was able to catch him and forcibly take his bag, which contained a large amount of cash. One of the suspects then got into the complainant’s vehicle and sped away while the second suspect ran out to the street, where he was picked up by another vehicle. Houston PD #1532033-24
The complainant’s vehicle was located a short time later, abandoned, at the 9300 block of Chatwood Drive.
The case was assigned to a Houston Police Robbery Detective, and it was determined that the complainant was followed by four different vehicles. (1) Black Mercedes Benz four sedan w/ black and silver rims tinted windows, (2) Black Jeep Cherokee four door SUV w/ black wheels with tinted windows, (3) White four-door Chevrolet Malibu w/a black front left fender (unknown paper plates) and tinted windows and (4) a Gray Cadillac SUV four-door. It is likely that the suspects were following the complainant prior to the robbery.
Suspect description: Black male, 5’9 to 6’0, 180 to 200 pounds, red/brown hoodie and dark colored pants.
