The Houston Police Department’s Robbery Division needs the public's assistance identifying the suspect responsible for an aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon.
On Saturday, November 2, 2024 at around 2:15 pm, an unknown male entered a general store while holding a long bag over his shoulder at the 5700 block of Chimney Rock, in Houston, Texas. The male walked down an aisle, removed a rifle from the bag, forced the employee and customer to the ground, and then demanded the money from the cash register and safe. The suspect removed cash from the business and then fled the scene in an unknown direction. Houston PD #1537605-24
Suspect description: Hispanic male, dark curly hair, black hoodie, tan or brown pants, spoke Spanish and appeared to have a similar Guatemalan accent.
