Female Suspect Still Sought in Robbery of Ride Share Driver

 

The Houston Police Department’s Robbery Division are still in need of the public's assistance identifying the suspect responsible a robbery by force.  

On Tuesday, May 21, 2024, at around 4:50 pm, the complainant, a ride share driver, was giving an unknown female a ride at the 1000 block of Banks, in Houston, Texas. The complainant stated that the female suddenly opened the back door of his vehicle while it was moving, so he asked her not to do that because it was dangerous. The female responded to the complainant by stating that he needed to relax since no cars were coming. The complainant then pulled over and told the female that he canceled the ride and asked her to get out of the car. The female suspect refused to get out of the vehicle and then assaulted the complainant by hitting him in the face. The suspect then grabbed the complainant’s car keys and fled the location on foot. Houston Police Robbery Detectives conducted a follow up investigation and the identity of the female suspect remains unknown.

Suspect descriptions: Hispanic female, light colored sports bra and black pants.
