Armed Suspects Shoot Innocent Bystander while Fleeing from Robbery

The Houston Police Department’s Robbery Division are still in need of the public's assistance identifying the suspect responsible for an Aggravated Robbery.

On Friday, December 27th, 2024, at around 4:00 AM, three unknown males approached the complainants, who were sitting in their vehicle at an apartment complex parking lot, located at 2000 block of Spenwick Drive, in Houston, Texas. One of the suspects pointed a handgun at the complainants while demanding that they exit their vehicle. The female complainant pulled out her own handgun and pointed it back at the suspects. The suspects then retreated and fled the scene on foot, running through the apartment complex. Houston PD #1792653-24.

As this was happening, a complainant (unrelated to the first incident) was inside his apartment and heard the commotion outside. The complainant thought that someone might be breaking into his vehicle again, so he walked outside to investigate. As the suspects were fleeing the scene on foot, they observed the third complainant and began shooting at him, striking him in the leg. The suspects then fled the location on foot.
