Suspect Assault Security Guard After Shoplifting at Grocery Store

 

The Houston Police Department’s Robbery Division needs the public's assistance identifying the suspects responsible for robbery by force.

On Tuesday, June 17, 2025, at around 10:30 pm, an unknown male and female entered a grocery store, located at the 200 block of W. 20th, in Houston, Texas. The male and female filled a shopping cart up with merchandise within the store and then walked out without paying for it. An employee witnessed the event and attempted to stop the male suspect outside of the store. The suspect physically assaulted the employee and then fled the location in a maroon Nissan sedan. Suspect description: Black male, 5’8 to 5’10, red shirt and dark shorts.

Suspect #2: Black female, 5’4, black shirt and black shorts.

Vehicle: Maroon newer model Nissan Altima or Maxima
