ARRESTED: Charges have been filed
against a suspect arrested for aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon and the
identity of a second suspect remains unknown. The incident occurred on Tuesday,
May 13, 2025, at around 10:00 pm at a hotel parking lot at the 12100 block of Northwest
Freeway, in Houston, Texas.
The suspect, Jeffery Scott, 52, is charged with aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon in the 232nd State District Court. Jeffery Scotts’ booking photo is attached to this release along with video of the unidentified second suspect.
According to the complainant, he was getting into his vehicle when he was approached by an unknown male, who pointed a handgun at him and told him to exit the vehicle. At the same time, a second suspect entered the vehicle through the passenger side and assaulted the complainant by striking him in the face with a closed fist. The first suspect then got into the driver’s seat as both suspects drove away from the scene in the complainant’s vehicle.
Houston Police Officers from the North Patrol Division located the complainant’s stolen vehicle, with only one occupant, a short time later, and initiated a felony traffic stop. Houston Police Officers placed the suspect into custody, who was then identified as Jeffery Scott, 52. During the search of the vehicle, officers were also able to locate the handgun within the vehicle. Charges of aggravated robbery were filed, and he was placed into the Harris County jail.
