Crime Stoppers and the Houston Police
Department’s Robbery Division need the public's assistance identifying the
suspects responsible for an aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon.
On Friday, January 26, 2018 at 1:56 pm,
two unknown Hispanic males entered the Handy Food Mart, located at 540
Yorkshire, in Houston, Texas. One of the males was armed with a handgun and
pointed the weapon at the clerk and demanded the money from the cash registers.
The second male stood at the front door as a look-out. The male then jumped over
the counter and began removing the money from the cash registers and cigarettes.
Once the suspect had the money, he was then assisted by the second suspect, who
placed the cigarettes in a red backpack. The suspects fled the scene in a white
unknown sedan. HPD case #110209-18
Suspect descriptions:
Suspect #1: Hispanic male, 25 to 30
years old, 5’10 to 5’11, medium build, dark pullover, grey shoes armed with
handgun.
Suspect #2: Hispanic male, 18 to 25
years old, 5’6 to 5’7, gray hoodie, dark pants, white shoes and North Face red
backpack.

for information leading to the charging and/or arrest of the suspect in this
